Bill Krebs Joins Established Architectural Firm as Principal

    • MGZA Principal, Bill Krebs, is a highly respected and experienced businessman. A specialist in workplace practice and strategic facilities planning, Bill provides MGZA's clients with a personal approach to major, complex project work.

Well-known design professional William G. Krebs has joined the architecture firm of MGZA (M.G.Zahn & Associates) as Principal.   A widely recognized leader in the design industry, Mr. Krebs was formerly affiliated with Interspace Incorporated, first serving as a key executive and managing Principal, then owner, of this multi-disciplinary commercial design firm. His most recent affiliation prior to joining MGZA was as Principal at Cathers & Associates, a Malvern, PA – based architecture firm.

 
During his career, Mr. Krebs has headed multi-disciplinary teams of design and engineering professionals to create headquarters for many fortune 500 companies, including SmithKline Beecham’s Consolidated R&D Center, Merck & Company, and the U.S. Senate Office Systems Research Project.

Mr. Krebs’ background includes extensive research in workplace trends for all types of businesses, and MGZA’s clients span the municipal, corporate, medical and legal industries, including the City of Wilmington, Wilmington Trust Company, University of Delaware, PNC Bank, Blackrock, Christiana Care Health Systems, TA Instruments - Waters LLC, Artesian Water Company and Reed Smith LLP.

Mr. Krebs holds a BFA degree from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and completed Cornell University’s Masters Program in Environmental Analysis, Urban Planning and Design.
 
His community service includes 28 years as a Trustee on the Executive Committee of the Alumni Council for the University of the Arts, as well as many other civic and charitable institutions.  He is a member of the Corporate Council of IFMA (International Facilities Management Associates) Philadelphia. A sought-after speaker, Krebs had conducted seminars and critique sessions at Cornell, Moore College of Art and Design, and Philadelphia University. He has been a contributing writer for CONTRACT, Interior Design, Real Estate Forum, and Facility Design and Management magazines.
