Rebecca H. Blake came to MGZA, in early 2001, with nearly fourteen years
of experience
in the field of interior design. With a dedicated service philosophy,
honed with her early work
with high-end residential clients, Ms. Blake grew to become a partner
in a noted
Wilmington, Delaware, design firm. Her six years of experience, as a company
owner,
has provided her with business savvy that she brings to her clients at
MGZA.
With a service specialty that includes interior renovation work,
planning and design implementation, Ms. Blake represents talent
and experience in her work on MGZAs rehab and building conversion
projects.
Ms. Blakes professional work covers a wide scope of service, with
clients that range
from law firms to bank branches, development entities to educational facilities
& private residences to financial corporations. Her project work includes
the interior design program
for the childrens Seashore House, Philadelphia, as well as the Delaware
facilities
for The Wellness Community, the Police Athletic League & the Seamans
Center
at the Port of Wilmington.
Augmenting MGZAs project niche in the financial facilities sector,
Rebecca Blakes work includes projects encompassing diverse projects
that include Wilmington Trusts Financial Management Center, in Villanova,
PA,
the Discount Brokerage Group and Operations Departments, in Wilmington,
and the Dover Southern Lending Center.
In addition, Ms. Blake has designed three branch - banking facilities
for Wilmington Trust,
as well as a retail project for Diamond State Federal Credit Union.
With a particular interest in working with law firms, Ms. Blake has provided
design services for many prominent firms in Wilmington.
Her work includes design for Morris Nichols Arsht & Tunnell,
Rosenthal Monhait Gross & Goddess, Smith Katzenstein & Furlow
The Bayard Firm and Sawyer Akin & Herron.
As a Senior Designer with MGZA, Rebecca Blake is leading design for
PFPC Worldwide Inc.s Gulph Road facilities; King of Prussia, PA.
In addition, Ms. Blake is managing planning studies and phased renovations
for Verizon,
PFPC Worldwides Bellevue Campus facilities, and tenant services
for
Commonwealth Management & PNC Realty Services.
Of Asian - American heritage, Ms. Blake complements the international
outlook of MGZAs
staff members, with a strong interest in travel including several trips
to Japan.
Growing up as the daughter of a Japanese restaurant owner,
Rebecca credits her life - long love of cooking to her mother.
A charter member of the International Interior Design Association, Ms.
Blake is active in promoting the maintenance
of high standards of the Interior Design profession.
