When BlackRock Inc., a Manhattan-based financial services company developed their first building outside of New York City, MGZA was selected as the record architect for the fit out of the 85,000 square foot Regional Headquarters in northern Delaware.

MGZA provided programming, space planning, interior architecture, interior design and full phase assistance for the project. After BlackRock's 2001 move, MGZA continued to service the company for successive projects under the management of MGZA's Director of Design, Laurie Grimmelsman. MGZA is proud to have presented a facility aesthetic that met BlackRock Chairman, Larry Fink's, personal objectives for the look and feel of the building.
