MGZA

MGZA redefined a deteriorated warehouse building as a high-tech enclosure for the Riverfront Development Corporation, on behalf of the National Passenger Rail Service, Amtrak. Adjacent to MGZA's offices, this building featuring new vertical circulation and building support elements appended to the renovated warehouse shell. The floors of the old structure were elevated to accommodate flood plain requirements. The new construction was supported by piles that neutralized the impact of unstable fill that was added to the shores of the Christina River.
