MGZA

How Different are We?

A Different Kind of Excellence

At MGZA, we recognize that "IT" is not about us, "IT" is about our clients. The passion that we have for our clients' needs, objectives and problems has led to our years of business success. Excellence is not a specific style, nor is it a specific budget. Excellence is successfully managing a diverse team; owners, brokers, consultants, technical specialists, engineers, construction managers and creative designers. Excellence is maintaining a sense of ethics, fairness and morality regardless of the pressures to do otherwise.

MGZA was honored to be commended by Construction Manager Carl V. Marenco, President of Marenco Constructors, Inc. on our work for Artesian Water Company's Norman J. Taylor, Jr. Building. "As the lead architect, your ability to manage multiple design disciplines with complex tasks appeared seamless. This teamwork led to a quality project that finished on time and under budget."

Experienced Professionals Dedicated to Your Project

In this economy, companies are under pressure to deliver projects for the lowest fees. With service-based businesses, low fees generally translate into young and inexperienced teams. At MGZA, we provide experienced business professionals to our clients. That experience translates into fewer problems, fewer do-overs, and much higher project quality. Our fees are competitive and are cost-effective. Importantly, we do it well the first time around, a cost-effective philosophy than makes more sense than paying for corrections a second time around. MGZA has picked up work after others have fallen short on many occaisions over the years.

Sustainability

Environmental sensitivity and sustainability are not just words at MGZA. With a design philosophy honed during her graduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, sustainable practice is the basis of design at our office. From our planning to our work with technical specialists, we have long embraced the priciples that have become the basis of 'green.'

We were early specifiers of eco-friendly products and manufacturers who embraced sustainabiity. Mary Severino was the first LEED-accredited professional in the State of Delaware. We lead by our actions, and not just by words. Read More.
